Oh you just suspected that I would look in here.
Nothing much really, thinking about starting Police Tracks, but for now just stickering up some Datsun's and Seekers. Also got a Energon Skywarp and Starscream to do at some point, plus another Datsun, another Bruticus, and once I get a proper female Microman figure I'm going to see about doing a Hawkgirl custom. Don't know when I'll start any of that though, I tend to work in spurts.

Cool! I need to get set back up, and get a few cans of air. I have some ideas for some of the new stuff, and some unfinished work.

I just use the cheep airbrushes. Since I only have a couple bottles with it. I only airbrush the base color and black parts. I hand paint the rest. The paint seems to be more smooth if I do it this way.

And of course as I'm getting close to getting my credit cards paid off (did a bad bad thing with them and ran one up to almost 7000 before I realized I had a problem) my car decides that it wants to go back into the shop again, this is the fourth time its done it. It knows when I'm about to have some cash.
Basically its temperature is spiking a little when I start moving from a dead stop, it does down when the air hits it, but with enough stop and goes in town its gotten to around 210, about 10 or 15 degrees warmer then its normal temperature. Did this last summer too, but I thought that it was fixed when I had the fan belt replaced when my starter died (the second oh he's got some cash moment)

The paint seems to be more smooth if I do it this way. I'd only air brush light colors that need to many coats with hand brushing. I had a yellow tracks like what you posted almost done but ruined the airbrush and handpainting wouldn't cut it.

GM 3800 series 2 huh. Humm... My Mom has a 98 GTP. Comon prob is the heater core, but you dont have any water in your pasenger floorboard. Lets see. It has a dual electic fan. So fans shouldn't be the prob.
Has the coolant level droped at all, or have you noticed a puddle of antifrezze under the car?

Wait I had water on the passenger floor, but I thought that it was from a thing of water that I was bringing to work that tipped over and spilled. Theres no puddles and the coolant was topped off the only time it was ever low. its 6 years old with 59,500 miles on it. So its not like its a old old car.

Could be a spill. When did it happen. The spill that is, and is the water still there?

That would explain the water, I thought that it took a while to dry out. Thought that it was just a spill like I said or a bad seal on my passenger side door. That was about say a month ago, car ran warm this past Sunday what I'd call bad or noticeable. Of course most of the time I make a lot of short trips where the car is jsut getting warm when I make it to my destination too. Only do the parents once every two weeks.
