With gas over $3.00 a gal. and groceries going up all the time, have any of you guys had to cut your toy/collecting budgets?

No changes here. Granted, I have changed my toy collecting habits within the past year. I may pick up something on occasion, but my glory days are over.

I have cut back alot over the past couple years. But kids and a cut in income will always cause that.

I've cut back a lot as well. Kids and price increases are a nasty combo on the budget (especially when the kids are old enough to get involved in extra activities).

I cast my vote. I have cut back a lot. So much so that i almost voted for "Stopped or almost stopped". Having 2 kids, gas and grocery prices going up coupled with my job cutting some hours has really slowed my spending.

I am pretty much the same. I actually have probably increased my collecting, since Mattel has come out with some decent figures. I know many of you have kids and I can see how that would affect your collecting. I only have 2 dogs and 2 cats, so other than their yearly shots and periodic checkups, that is the ony thing that affects the pocket book except the price of groceries going up, which was really noticeable this weekend.

Mine hasn't changed much, and right now there's not much I want, so I'm saving a bit for what'll be coming out in the summer.

I've had to cut back a lot for various reasons. The crappy economy plays a part in it though.
