As you may or may not know, I am now a dialysis patient and have been since about June. I go 3 times a week Mondy/Wednesday/Friday. Well the doctor had great news for me today. Not only did he say I may get to shorten my time on the dialysis machine, but the transplant hospital called and told me I am now officially on the transplant list!
It has taken a while to get to this point, but this is the best news I could have gotten this weekend!
Just thought I would share with you all! Now I am exhausted I am headed to bed so I can get up early and play Mario Galaxy for a couple of hours..... ;D

Well, I haven't gotten to play Galaxy, yet. I have had so much happening lately..but I plan to play it sometime this weekend, I just don't know when I am truly goin gto have a chance....
I am 35 years & old and I have polycycstic kidney disease. My Dad had and has already had a transplant. Unfortunately it is a hereditary disease. Pretty much looks like all 3 of my younger brothers will end up with it and my sister is now showing signs of it. The good part is, that if you have to have a kidney disease, this is the one to have. It does not recur when they transplant the new kidney, so you place higher on the transplant list.
