Transformers seem to be the main thing that all of us collect or have been collecting for some time. But for me TF collecting has taken a major down turn. There are no new G1 reissues (Soundwave don't count), it is easy to pick up all the classics and there is no real line out until the movie comes out.
I have been hearing talk about MASK and other lines. So what have you been collecting other than TF's to stay busy?
For me I have been buying up more DVD's. I just completed my set of Stargate seasons (I needed 8 and 9) I picked up the new Rocky movie and have on order season 1 and 2 of Stargate Atlantis, TF the movie, Season one of Battlestar Galactica and Smallville season 3 and 4.

I am all over the place in this area, but here's the list as best I can make it:
Toys G1 Transformers He-Man (vintage and new) The Batman Star Wars Star Trek Video game collectibles (mostly Final Fantasy) G.I. Joe McFarlane Sportspicks Gargoyles Filmation Ghostbusters (recent surge) D.C. comics Related items Robotech
There are a few other miscellaneous things in there, but that is most of it.
I also collect Video games (mostly "vintage") and on occasion - Mountain Dew items.

Well I have "trimmed the fat" so to speak, on what I collect. I agree with Dev, transformers has pretty much taken a down turn form me. I will probably get the movie figures when they are out and possibly Heroes depending on how much I like them when they hit.
Mainly I have shifted to:
The Batman: Which is also tanking..the variety of figures is now sucking
DCSH JLU figures single packs/3-packs/ 10" figs DCSH Comic Book Line Some DC Direct figs MOTU Staction Figures DC Minimates Transformers Titanium & SWTF.
Plus I get almost every DC comic, transformers, and a couple of image titles monthly.
I might get into the new DC strategy game. Since the figures will be done by the four horsemen, it may be worth picking them up just for the sculpts.
...and the whole fact that the remaining seekers are going to be Botcon exclusives sucks big ones, so I could care less about that line any more. I am not opposed to them being exclusives, but I am opposed to them being exclusives at an outrageous price and refuse to pay that much for something that should only be roughly $10.00 a figure. (sorry...I am sure I should have saved that for another thread...couldn't help myself)
Botcon can bite me!

I feel your pain about the classics, stryker. I think hasbro is between a rock and hard place when it comes to botcon exclusives: on one hand, they want to have a desirable product so people attend and become members, on the other hand those of us who can't or won't pay those prices feel like we're getting screwed..I really want those seekers, but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.. Here's my list: Transformers Classics, Titanium, and soon, Movie toys ..and that's about it. I don't know if I'll continue collecting s6, sota hasn't released a wave of sf in about 6 months (supposedly they're releasing another wave this summer), and I don't see myself buying any tmnt stuff for awhile, if ever. I do have a growing dvd collection; might pick up the good shepherd this coming tuesday.

I have also been picking up a few of the different Titanium ships. I just got the Pegasis from Battlestar Galactica and the Super Star Destroyer from Star Wars.
Does anyone know what else has been put out in this die cast series?

For me it is as follows: 1. Star Wars, well it's more like part of my life, who I am, and what I do. So it's hard to say I collect it. When it's such a big part of my life. 2. Transformers mainly G1, True G1 Alternators, Seeker Classics. TFs are more like my little side hobby. 3. Now getting back in Batman. This would inculde the 60's and 89 through 90's Movie stuff. I was a huge Batman fan as a kid. Now that fier has resurfest. 4. There several other lines I would love to get into. But there just is not the money, time, or effort to get into them. Plus I'm just to lazy to relearn a whole other line or franchise,

We have a little bit (okay, a LOT) of everything in our collection. We've been collecting since the early 90's, so it's really added up over the past 15 years. But our biggest culprits have been TFs (vintage and new), Star Wars (both v & n), GI Joe (both), M.A.S.K., TMNT (mostly vintage), Robotech, He-man (both), Thundercats, Micronauts, Battle Beasts, and Real Ghostbusters. But we have prettymuch everything we want vintage-wise, so now we just pick up the occasional new figure that catches our eye from varying lines. Star Wars, GI Joe, Justice League, Marvel Legends, TMNT, Minimates, Robotech, and others. We finally crushed the completist bug for TFs as of last year.
