I have been thinking about this for a long while. With all the new improvements on the larger displacement vehicles. Why aren't US automakers dipping into the foreign parts of their companies more? The muscle car rebirth has allowed this to happen with 1 car. That was GM bringing the Holden Manaro from Australia to become the Pontiac GTO. Nobody else has even considered doing this that I know of. Motor Trend did mention Pontiac possibly bringing another Holden over. That being the Commodore to possibly become the next gen Grand Prix G8. Rear drive and V8 power around 400hp. If Ford would go that route they have the Falcon XR8 built by Ford Australia. Big 4dr like the Commodore and big V8 power. Why not do what the competition is doing it would sell. On the other hand I may be wrong about the other manufacturer in the US. Chrysler The big 300 with the Hemi in it is possibly a Mercedes. Just my rant. Being a car guy and all I had to say something somewhere.
