For the most part I am a Windows PC person. But in addition to running a couple of Linux distros in VMWare, I also own a small Imac. It is old, out of date and not very impressive. In its day it looked good, but time and technology have left it behind. I got this used a few months ago for $40.00 for the sole purpose of learning the operating system. See the specs and pics below. Its an Imac G3 500 MHz/1 GB RAM/120 GB HDD/8 MB ATI Video This is the actual Imac.This is a screen shot of me controlling it from Windows 7.

Thats pretty cool. that mac is about like my old penium 3.

Thats pretty cool. that mac is about like my old penium 3. Power and speed wise, it is more on par with a 500 MHz Pentium II. But it does its job, letting me learn the operating system. Next year, I might buy a newer Mac based on the Intel chips.
