Well, at the nice age of 35 I felt it was time to do what I should have done a long time ago. I am going back to school to get my bachelors degree. I just started today. It is an online degree from Western Governors university. I will be going for my Bachelors of Science in IT with an emphasis on Network Management and Administration. It will take me about 4 years to complete, but I am excited and ready to go Aside from the Bachelors degree, you also get 9 IT certifications along the way, so i will be able to put those on my resume right away. With the classes, i also get a Tech Net and MSDN subscription as well, so I get all kinds of free software. www.wgu.edu

Will it be hard for you to find a job when your nearly 40? I will be working while going to school, so i can keep building my work experience. But I dont think 40 is a bad age for finding jobs, 50 might be, but I think 40 is fine.

I think it depends who you work for. In my case, I work for Caterpillar and they let me go to school while working for them, they even pay you your tuition at 100% which is great if you are on a budget.
