So let me start by telling my story. Back last July I hit an all time high weight of 257 pounds the day after the 4th. At that point I felt it was time to make some changes if I wanted to live a fun life with my family. The next 6 months was a seesaw battle which saw my bounce between 239 and 250. As of Dec 29th I was 249 (man holidays are tough). From that point on I got serious and realistic. The past six months saw 5-10 pound weight loss weeks followed by 5-10 pound weight gain weeks. I knew I had to take control. Starting January first I decided to make a goal of only a 1-2 pound a week weight loss through a consistent diet and exercise plan. I bought an calorie tracking program and inputted my goals. I stuck to a pretty strict 2000 calorie a day diet. Combined with consistent exercise I am now down to 208 pounds. 1 of my top accomplishments thus far is running a half marathon which was yesterday (13.17 miles). I finished in 2hours 13 minutes (10 minute 12 second miles). It was easily one of the most difficult things I have ever done, but I can't even begin to tell you how much pride I feel in doing it. ;D I have another 20-25 pounds I could loose and thought if anyone else had the desire to get in better shape or loose a few pounds we could help each other out. Anyone interested?

Thanks Kyla. If you need any advice or motivation I am your man. I really recommend a calorie count program and to use it daily. Mine is called calorie-king. I bought it online for about $40.00. It is very simple to use and you can have up to 5 users.

Thank You Bear... I will defiantly have to look into something like that.. I used to write down everything i ate and counted 1400 calories a day. I finally just quit counting and started watching how much and what I eat. .
