www.imdb.com/news/wenn/#1Peace of what was said. Since it doesn't seem the original article is in the link. Quote: Actors Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor have teamed up with other stars of all six Star Wars movies for a new Vanity Fair photo spread. The American magazine grouped together 22 major performers in the legendary franchise, inviting cast members from the original 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope to this year's final installment Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith. Mastermind George Lucas, who directed four of the intergalactic movies, joined Ford, Fisher, Portman and McGregor as well as original Luke Skywalker star Mark Hamill, Samuel L. Jackson, Liam Neeson and Hayden Christensen. Robots R2-D2 and C3PO also joined their human co-stars for the reunion shoot. Lucas admits the final part of the opening trilogy marks the end of an era in his career - and he now plans to stop making successful films. He says, "I'm going to make movies nobody wants to see. I've earned the right to fail." ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v213/Gmansr5/20050104_bg.jpg)

All that's missing is Boba Fett .... depending on whether he's in ep 3, he'll have had an appearance in 3 or 4 of the 6!

![](http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TTC_Forum/op.gif) This is all so exciting and sad for a Star Wars fan such as myself. Exciting for the new movie ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) but sad for it being the end. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) But Star Wars will live on forever. Because of us fanboys out there. ![](http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TTC_Forum/usa.gif)

I remeber hearing a long time ago. There are 3 more scripts. 7,8, and 9. It could happen.

Eps 7, 8, and 9 are long running rumors that Lucas has always denied. There is supposed to be a direct quote from Lucas that mentioned doing the third trilogy but I've never seen the actual quote or a reference to where to get the quote.
At this point I would consider 7-9 to be fan-rumor only. If Lucas actually is planning to do them, hopefully he will be smart enough to wait a decade or so in order to refresh the fan base. (The same thing Paramount needs to do with Star Trek .....)

Well, a lot of people like Enterprise - perhaps not the majority of the Star Trek fanbase, but it has a following.
I never see "taking a break" as a way out. All that means is that my life has to go on for awhile without Star Trek just because we are in a "waiting period." I honestly do not want to have to wait until my mid-thirties before I can see more Star Trek.

I love that picture. It seems like a great way to wrap up the saga, but it's sad that it has to BE wrapped up. Amen to that! And because of us fangirls, I might add. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Did anyone else hear the rumors about the possible SW tv show? There was a ruckus about it awhile back and it seemed like it might have had more behind it than just wishful thinking, but I haven't heard anything more now in quite a bit. It's hard to see SW as a tv show, but it could be cool. I don't want there to be a "break" either, though that's probably just the fangirl talking. I have no idea if 3 more movies/a tv show would work now or not, though I tend to think there will always be enough SW fans to make whatever they end up doing at least a marginal success. Here's to a terrific Episode III, and whatever comes afterwards!
