All I can say is....WOW! I loved it...I don't care what anyone says that is probably the best of all 6 movies. Once some of you guys have seen it, we seriously need to discuss it!
I am going again this weekend!

Oh come on, Jay! You're still caught up in the hype!
Don't get me wrong - GREAT movie....but it's obvious that it wouldn't mean as much without episodes 4,5 and 6.

True but it was still a great movie....since it is part of a story that is how I watch it vs. it just being a stand alone. Once everyone has seen it...I will post what I was a little disappointed in and what I loved!!!

That was one thing I liked about it in general - the fact that it could stand on it's own. While still a salute to the original trilogy, it has its own traits which seperated it from episode 1 and 2 (which were basically "filler crutches" for the rest of the saga.

I really liked the movie, almost better than Jedi, and way better than Episode 1 & 2. Pretty cool! I saw it 3 times.

All I can say is you don't see a Lucas film for the stellar acting. That being said I really did enjoy it, and I felt like my heart was torn out when the Jedi were slaughtered.
