![](http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TTC_Forum/op.gif) OK it's time for one of those ultra geek out quetion moments here. So everyone work with me here. ;D ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ;D As one who grew up with the Original Trilogy as a kid the first time aroud. As a kid to me there was always something sort of magical about those three films. It's sort of a hard thing to describe. But when I would watch those movies it was all sort of real and I was totally into it. Not knowing at the time Lucas has subliminaly hidden in to the Star Wars them when played backwards "you will be addicted for life, you will be addicted for life....." ;D ;D ;D So having a life time with the OT and now as an adult(in body only, not mind ;D ) with the Prequil Trilogy. The new films have just pulled me in as did the OT. It's like the PT was always a story I knew growing up my whole life but just never seen it happen. If that makes sense. So does anyone else feel the same way???

I had little or no emotional response for the first two prequels because they contained no entertaining writing of any kind. Only episode 3 really got me to an emotional high, and that was not enough to make the first two any better.

I have kind of come to a realization regarding the prequels. They are just bad. I was excited for episode 1. This is kind of sad, but for years I tried to justify it being good. It is Star Wars it has to be good, there are so many questions it answered, and I have to know why Anakin betrayed the Jedi were all excuses for me. I didn't even see Episode 2 in the theaters and the only reason I saw #3 was for a Wookie battle that lasted all of 20 seconds.
Don't get me wrong the first 3 or last three or how ever you figure it are classics. I just can't help but think Lucas put out the prequels to make a quick buck. The stories were bad, the acting was bad, the plot wholes were many, and the characters lacked charisma.
The legendary Jedi were pretty stupid when you think about it. The Sith was right in front of them, they led an army of clones who took the characteristics of a Bounty Hunter who tried to kill some of there own, and they trained Darth Vader who they knew was a rotten egg in the first place. No wonder they were slaughtered.
