I've been working on some home improvement projects over the last couple months, and plan to keep going very soon. I thought I start a new thread to post the before and after pics and updates.

The dragons have a home! I used pre-made melamine shelving and spray painted them to look like granite and the metal brackets I found a Wal-Mart.

I like the wall color a lot. The only problem is it looks like it may be gloss and I am not a big gloss fan. The shelves are great. I have been thinking of doing some built-ins in our bedroom. I guess time and the wallet will tell.

It's a satin finish, but we have horrible texture that we inherited with this house and it makes it reflect more.

I love that color...that is almost the same color I have on my kitchen walls. It looks awesome as a background to the dragons!

Here's what I've been working on this time. I built the wall around the flowerbed, and soon I'll fill it in and put more plants in with the rose bushes. I need another rosebush on the left side to fill the empty spot. (I had one, but some overzealous teenaged helpers dug it up with the stump of a shrub ) I have some more beds planned in the rest of the yard, which I will be working on soon as well.
