For those members who are at least residents here in America, most of us have long weekends coming up. ![](http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TTC_Forum/usa.gif) I was just curious how many others have "projects" planned. We are going to be very busy (I hope). On our list of things to do: 1. Fix the gate to the backyard 2. Install the ceiling fan on the back deck 3. Spray yard for insects 4. Spray inside house and garage for insects 5. Build bookshelf. 6. Build bedframe/headboard/footboard 7. Sand and refinish endtable I know that it is rather ambitious, but if we even get a portion of this done, I'll be happy. ![](http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TTC_Forum/coffee.gif) If we make decent progress, I'll post pictures.

Just make sure you give me a good vacuuming once a month and a shampoo once a year and I will be happy. ![](http://img8.photobucket.com/albums/v28/gunman_sr5/lol.gif)

My project was getting the Hot Tub that came with the house we bought 4 years ago running. I was going to buy a filtered pool for my son to splash aound in. Once I thought about it I decided to just get the Hot Tub up and going. That way Mrs. Bear and I could enjoy it as well. The former owner of the house we bought liked his toys. not only did he have the HT, but an above ground swimming pool that was 16 x 32 feet. We sold the pool shortly after we moved in. I had the HT running when we first moved in, but with a pregnent wife and a huge remodel going I just didn't have the time for the upkeep. My son loves it. It has tons of little jets and one big super jet. He likes me to set him infront of the super jet, and then I turn it on. He goes shooting acroos the tub and just laughs. ![](http://img8.photobucket.com/albums/v28/gunman_sr5/bouncers.gif)

Sounds like a fun tub, Bear. How big is it (i.e., number of seats)?

Nice job on the gate.
Jo' The tub we have is listed as an 8 person tub, but only has 5 seats and one lounge. It feels great after a long day.

With Jo'Roq's parents in town this weekend we will continue our list of projects. Next on the list is building the bookshelf. I'm really hoping that this one turns out well. I'll let you guys know how it comes along....
