For those of you who don't know Jo'Roq and I are childless for a week and a half! ![](http://img8.photobucket.com/albums/v28/gunman_sr5/bouncers.gif) I'm starting this thread to post my projects as I complete them. Two of the items that are top priority are finishing the painting on the inside of the house, and replacing the countertops in the kitchen. I'll post pictures of before/after shots as things are completed for those that are interested.

Things are looking great in the homestead. I like the tall counters.

Looking good. I would not need to raise the counter that high, but a 2 to 3 inch lift might make working in the kitchen a little easier.

New furniture! Jo'Roq and I got new living room furnature with our tax refund. The smaller of the two couches is a queen hide-a-bed. We are now ready to host the TT&C gathering for the TF movie Summer of '06! ![](http://img8.photobucket.com/albums/v28/gunman_sr5/7_5_131.gif) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/rachel_renee/newfurniture2-052.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/rachel_renee/newfurniture2-051.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/rachel_renee/newfurniture2-05.jpg)

There is just something about the feel of a new couch. We bought a sectional a few months ago. Isn't it funny how things look much smaller in the store. We bought a recliner at the smae time because we thought we had plenty of room. needless to say we didn't, so we had to get rid of our huge entertainment center and scale down to a corner TV stand. Everything fits and looks pretty good now.
