Well the spyware is gone, but now I have to refresh mesage bords when I go to the main pages to see if there is anything new. I always thought it pulled up the newest version of the page...

Add on the fact that I can't turn my Norton Antivirus on to monitor full time.

That's not good.
Clean out your cookies and log in to the websites again to reset your settings. Hopefully that is the only thing needed to fix that problem.
Also - Run liveupdate for Norton Antivirus and check to make sure your subscription has not expired.

No luck yet... Is Service pack 2 a factor with Norton?

Shouldn't be. I have used it with Antivirus 2003 and 2004. Which one are you running?

Take that back - I have run it with 2004 and 2005.
I think 2003 works with it though. If it is up to date, it shouldn't have a problem.
Can you post a screenshot of the main screen for antivirus? (the one that pops up when you double-click the icon in the system tray)

I can't get a pic. The only 2 that are out of the norm are Autoprotect off and email scaning error. Hope that helps.
