I'm excited that this thing totes 3 3.2 Ghz processors. If anything, it should be great for arcade emulation as well as video encoding.
Oh yeah...and games. Hahaha.

Surely they won't make it too expensive. There has to be an upper-limit on the price tag that would put it in the "affordable high-end electronics" category considering a large bulk of gamers are very young.
$250? $300? Any higher than that would be pretty crazy.

My fear is that they may not really marketing it for games. If it is marketed as a media hub and not a game console, the price could be higher.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing -
but wait. One of the consoles is available in different editions with different-sized hard drives, etc. Was it Xbox or Playstation? I can't remember. Maybe both?
Microsoft is a fool if they think one super expensive gaming/multimedia system is going to sell. They have to have other versions (stripped down) if they want things to work.
