I had a ram chip crap out about 3 months ago. It was a 512. Well all I had left was a 256 chip. Well Sunday I finaly got sick of it and went shopping. I ended up comeing home empty handed because the big chain electronics stores wanted to much and required a mail in rebait if you wanted a decent price. So when I got home I went to www.newegg.com and found what I wanted with a good rating and realy good price. 3 days later its here and I no longer have load lag!

I have ordered a large bulk of components from newegg and zipzoomfly over the years & have been very happy with their prices & shipping speed.

I am surprised with the difference going from a 333 MHz to a 400 chip.

I bet the quality of the RAM as well as the speed is probably a lot better than what you were using.
