What sports are you planning to watch?
For me I enjoy most of the gymnastics, divinig and archery competitions.

The gymnastics and divinig events are cool. I keep track of how we are doing in basketball as well.

I used to always watch basketball, but I don't play much myself anymore, and too many of the good players are too worried about being injured/tired out going into the nba season to participate. Ingrates. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

The US Men's basketball team lost today; they were down by 22 at one time, I think they ended up losing by around 10. Like I said, if the team had the players who hadn't turned down the olympics (shaq, kobe, karl malone, mcgrady, etc.), this team would win the gold easily. I'm not sure if they'll win it now.

The problem with getting pros is that they play more concerned about not getting hurt (and thus losing their paychecks) than winning the gold.
I can guarrantee that Yao Ming is giving 110% for the Chinese team.

Well, at least the swimming competitions this year are entertaining! The "Thorpedo" vs the american kid who can do no wrong! It has been interesting to watch....
The gymnastics qualifying rounds have been interesting too, China and Romania are the US women's biggest competition so far, I'm anxoius to see how they do in the later sets!
