<ahem> In the spirit of Christmas, wait.....disclaimer first: -------- I do believe that Energon Station officially supports Christmas & Merry ones at that....and that all people here <without warning> can wish you a Merry Christmas without you first agreeing to be wished a Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas can be wished randomly & without warning. Please be aware that there are quite a few users here that celebrate Christmas, and all of these users are very Merry. Wishing that they will not wish you a Merry Christmas is something we do not wish, and telling people here that you wish they wouldn't wish you a Merry Christmas will probably cause them to wish you a Merry freakin' Christmas with lots more wishes. We wish that you would wish that all of us here would wish you a Merry Christmas. ---------------- Now.....on with the post. <ahem> Here at Christmas time, the Christmas tree is a big part of the holiday. I think it would be really cool (in this wonderful era of the internet) if all of us here who have the means could take pictures of our decorated trees (no matter how big or small) and post the pictures here - that is - on Energon Station. We could essentially create a Christmas tree gallery. Close-ups of favorite ornaments are welcome. I would look to start it off (having just decorated our family tree at my parents tonight), however I will have to wait until I go back over there and can snap some pics. Anyone?

Let me start of by saying...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! to all.
Second...this is a great idea! I am going to take pics tonight of our tree. It has now become our tradition that Spencer's mother, who is a Master Florist, comes in and decorates our tree. She has done this for the past 3 years and I have really enjoyed the tree. I get to help her, but the tree looks the way it does mainly because of her. This is the first year we have added any colors other than silver, gold, and the creme colors. We decided to splash in red this year...
I will post pics tonight. I am looking forward to seeing everyones trees!

We went with a fake one this year. It is so close to our fireplace that I was concerned about it going up if it was real.

Here's our tree from our Houston-based portion of Christmas (we also went to my parents' house over Christmas weekend): This is actually our secondary tree (4-foot prelit), but was forced into service this year. Over the summer we had a rat living in our garage that we eventually chased out. When we pulled out our 7-foot prelit we found his nest - and the pieces of lighting wire he chewed off (chewed through two ends)!
