We have threads for what we've been reading, watching, and playing, so I figured we needed this one too. I've been listening to Morrissey's You Are the Quarry. Good stuff! I can't say I agree w/ his political views, but his songs are quite catchy, esp. the last of the gang to die, Irish blood English heart, and America is not the world. He's very anti-authoritarian, but he makes some good points along the way, and some are pretty funny as well.

Right now (since I'm in control of the computer) - the Lord of the Rings soundtracks! Ripped from CD onto the computer - and yes, they are original CDs I own.

Picked up a CD by a UK group a friend introduced me to ... Bond. Its a group of four women, all classically trained musicians, who perform modern variations of classical music (a pop-techno-classical style) that is very well done and extremely fun. They play using electric instruments (2 violins, a viola, and a cello), and have a backup orchestra and band.
They named the group after James Bond. I would love to hear them do an opening theme to a future Bond movie, or else play Bond girls (parts they are extremely well suited for .... ;D).
Oh, Ck - if I ever find the DVD, you'll get to hear their version of the Dallas theme! Very much worth it.

I've been in progressive rock heaven lately with Dream Theater and the Liquid Tension Experiment.
Particularly when listening to LTE, my ears are glued to the ... speakers.... Anyway, it is awesome, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes complex and highly technical rockin' music.
Also, Orff's Carmina Burana, which is always magnificent, but especially now that I have tickets to the upcoming SF Symphony performance!
