Friday, February 23rd, 2007 Batman may meet up with Superman on the bigscreen after all -- along with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash and all the rest of DC Comics' biggest names.
Warner Bros. is looking to make a feature based on super team the Justice League of America, hiring writing duo Kiernan and Michele Mulroney to write the screenplay. The film is bound to include some combination of DC's most iconic superheroes, although the studio wouldn't confirm which ones they might be, adds Variety.
No word on when the Justice League film will go forward.

I was hoping for this. The writing has been on the wall for a while now.
With the recent surge in comic book genre movies & WB's push of all things D.C., it seemed like we were going this direction.
I've figured for some time that it would make sense that they would start a lot of separate superhero movies and then bring them all together for a "huge movie event."
This is all based on the assumption that they would, of course, use the same actors in the JL movie.

Yeah I heard about this today on G4- apparently it's the same writers that did Mr. And Mrs. Smith. This is not starting off on the right foot, but we will wait and see.
