OK it all started this morning at Target when they opened. I found the Shadow Trooper on the $4.79 pegs. Yes I know better on the price of the figure, but they don't have stickers for the price and the average joe would be rather upset to think it was $4.79 and check out at $12.99. So I spent some time argueing with the store manager and toy department manager. I got the $4.79 for one. They wouldn't give me both of the ones I had at that price...
Then this evening. not so much of an arguemen, but quick agreament. Walmart has the Cybertron Voyager figures on sale for $14.95 at some stores. The one I found Evac at didn't have the sale going on, but when I mentioned 2 other stores in the area, they quickly acepted the price, and let me have it.
My whole point here is. Has anyone else had to argue with a store manager about anything similar?

I haven't argued with anyone...but I have walked up to the front and had something like this go down:
cashier - "How much are those?" me <stunned> - "Errr....not much...I...uhh..." cashier - "99 cents?" me "Sounds about right..." (pays and runs)

Well I have had something similar to what CK had. Picked up a $40 figure and it didn't ring up. So they asked me how much it was. Well I think it was.... Well fill in the blank.

Never really argued about it, just had to show the Hastings manager that the Warcraft Battle Chest pack still had the sale price sign up (that was a week expired .....). Got me Warcraft II for half price!

Well this got me more today. Another Target did the same thing. This time I hauled another Shadow Trooper, Mustafar Anakin, and Obi-Wan. No argueing needed.

<snap!> Speaking of Hastings - Walked into a store about 4 years ago. They had a video card (goes in your computer) that cost about $150 priced for $5. It was opened box. I took it up to the front and (...I couldn't help it) *ASKED* if the price was right. The cashier said yeah - so I bought it for $5 figuring - what do I have to lose? I installed it and the video was really messed up. You couldn't see a thing. Well - leaving the card in the computer, I rolled my chair over to my roommate's computer and downloaded some software (called "firmware") that can update the video card. It is usually used for minor fixes and all that.....but obviously if you can't see anything, it isn't very helpful! I read the directions for keystrokes on my roommates computer so I would know what to do (since I couldn't see what I was doing) & proceeded to upgrade the firmware. The firmware upgraded & the card worked PERFECTLY. I put it on ebay and sold it for about $150.
