Sorry to be so post-happy on this board, but I just have to ask, has anyone been on the Borg Assimilator at Paramount's Carowinds Amusement Park? It's the first Trek-themed roller coaster, I believe, and it's VERY cool. I went for the first time a few weeks ago with a bunch of friends, and while the line was quite long, it was definitely worth it. They have tv screens playing classic Borg clips while you stand in line. I was with a bunch of mostly non-Trekkies (more's the pity), so they couldn't really get why I was quoting along with the clips, ("Not a he, not a she, not like anything you've seen before.") but it was still a blast. You fly over a partially submerged Borg sphere, switching back and forth from flying on your stomach Superman-style to lying on your back. It's kind of intense, so they made me take my glasses off. I'm blind as a bat without them, so it was probably even more impressive than it looked to me. If you're ever in the southern North Carolina/northern South Carolina area, I would definitely recommend it. ![](http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TTC_Forum/borg.gif)

1st - don't ever feel bad about being post-happy. We can always use more posts around here! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) That sounds really neat. I went on one of those simulatoresque type rides "Borg Invasion 4D!" in Las Vegas. It was pretty cool. As for coasters - I am not really a "coaster." Definitely cool though.
