This has been circling the web lately & was rumored awhile back:

I have no idea if it is true, but it would be a neat deal, even if obviously a ploy to boost ratings. They've already played with Archer getting glimpses of the future of Earth and Starfleet - why not have an encounter with the man argued to be the greatest captain in Starfleet history?

They need something to save the rating son this...they put it in a bad time slot....Friday seems to be the least desirable of the week these days....

The original series was moved to a Friday timeslot, and uhh.....well it didn't air that much longer. But then again - Dallas was in a Friday timeslot. However I would say that Dallas ranked about a 9 on "must see" level and Enterprise ranks about a 3.

I like that they moved Enterprise to Friday. I also like the 7 PM start time, thus giving me a whole night of Sci-Fi.
7: Enterprise (UPN) 8: Stargate SG1 (Sci-Fi) 9: Stargate Atlantis (Sci-Fi) 11: Andromida (Sci-Fi)

Not a bad line-up at all. Too bad I don't have Sci-Fi (we're just on rabbit ears). The only thing is I can't handle Enterprise - good cast, decent writers, lousy producing.

Friday is about the only night that I watch TV. Between 9 and 11 while I am waiting for Andromida I watch the Lost, that I taped, and get some desert ready.
