There have been many versions of the Starship Enterprise, what is your favorite one?
For me it is the original Movie Enterprise that was used in Star Trek II. While I think that the Enterprise E is way sleaker and far more powerful, I just love the how well balanced and stable the original movie one looked.

The Galaxy class 1701-D is pretty cool in my opinion - that is the one i associate the most with my Star Trek fandom as I was pretty much born into Star Trek as a TNG fan. (didn't really watch much of TOS before TNG, although I did find the 70s cartoon entertaining. hahaha) I must say that the 1701 and 1701-A "insides" were really neat though. I think those vessels had more of a "forged" feel to them. (As opposed to a "LAforged" feel. HAHAHAHAHA! ) <ahem> Sorry.

I honestly have to say the E. Sleek and built for battle without appearing to be too martial - just a little dagger slicing through space. Plus, it has an actual FLIGHTSTICK! And coming soon - SEATBELTS!

That pun was awful! And in response to this thread... (please don't hate me)... I think that all of the TNG ones look the same.

The D from all good things. With the third nacel. That was the best especialy with the new weaponry and the cloaking ability.

I love the old D. TNG was the first Trek series I ever saw, and I love the big spacious bridge on the D and the nice WELL-LIT corridors. The newer ships are all dark and I can just imagine people tripping over those steps on the bridge in the dark. But, the E does have that beautiful-yet-deadly look, which is definitely good...I like the exterior of the E but the interior of the D. I can never quite take the old 1701 seriously because EVERY time I see it from the back I can't help but think the nacelles look like hairdryers.
