We have an update on the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime DVD Edition. Transformers products manager Greg Lombardo has confirmed for us that the figure does in-fact have the same amount of die-cast parts as the original release. Appearences can be deceiving, but we're glad to re-reort that we were wrong and this figure will be everything and more than original release.

Even if it was all plastic, $79.99 makes sense if it comes with the DVD. Definitely MSRP - but it still would make sense.

Plus it's a knockoff, anyway.
