Since i have not been doing much with transformers these days, I thought I would start collecting something new. I really like the Pixar movie Cars and for a few months have been staring at the the 3" (1:55 scale) Pixar diecast Cars. If you have visited the Hauls thread lately, you will se that I have already picked up 18 or these. I am going to try an collect them all.
So far I have left them all in the package. Since they can be displayed very well MOSC, I was thinking of leaving them sealed. What do you guys think? Should I open them, or leave them MOSC?

Take them out and buy some Hot Wheels track- Have fun playing with them, your two little girls will love them.
Just make sure they don't have lead paint on them. Some of them were recalled.

I see it this way. You have a collection that your kids are going to love. So you can either be the dad that won't let the kids play with his toys or the dad who has a good time letting his kids play with his toys(with extreme supervision).
Or take the easy way out on buy a bunch of doubles for the kids, because you are right they would make a great MISB collection.

Rose is big-time into the Cars line too. We don't have every single variant, but we have one of every character released so far (except for Race Official Tom). Some she opens up, and others she keeps sealed. Usually I'm a big advocate of opening up new toys, but in this case my vote goes to keep them sealed. They're beautifully detailed, but the paint chips at the lightest bump with another car, or even in a carrying/display case. Also since they don't have an action features, you won't be missing much. Plus you can always buy a few extras of certain favorites that you'd like to have loose, as they're not very expensive.
