Hey everyone -
So as somewhat of a "part 2" of my other thread regarding who knows what about what, I wanted to ask a few questions regarding 80s toys:
Do any of you know ..anything..about toys that we don't really talk about around here? For instance - if somebody came in and started up a thread asking about Visionaries, could you contribute? What about Silverhawks? The REAL Ghostbusters? Centurions? Inhumanoids?
What are some of the niche toys/cartoons from years past that perhaps you don't collect but have some experience with? Any of the ones I named above? What about some that I left out?
And if you will allow me, do any of the females of the forum know much about (and I already know the answer is yes to some of these): She-Ra, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony, Jem, Rainbow Brite, or anything else?

i never got into Silverhawks; I liked them, but my parents were leaning towards MOTU at the time. But I did owned The real Ghostbusters toy.
I remeber I had Fright Features series Egon, Janine, Ray and Winston, Screaming Heroes Peter, Ray Winstona and Egon. And I also owned Reapints from the first wave I dont remember the name of that wave, they were kinda "morph gear" accesories in there. I remember Egon had an helicopter backpack, and Peter came with a Jackhammer later included with the Joker in the Batman animated line.
For playsets, I had the Firehouse, the Ecto 1A and the yellow beetle.

Oh yeah I had a bit of everything and memories are still fresh. of the toys I had and wish I still had they were Cops, Silverhawks, Air Raiders, Sky Commanders, Visionaries, and Crystar. As for toys I had but rather not get back into collecting they were Ghostbusters, Original Hemans, Marvel toys (secret wars, etc...), the Dc Line, Original Turtles, Conan (The heman Type), Thundercats ohhh man I had so much Gi joes. Too bad I lost most of that stuff when we moved to texas Or should I say the Moving Company "Lost that stuff".

When I was a little girl my sister and I had Rainbow Brite, Care Bears, Cabbage Patch Kids, My Little Pony, Skipper, and Strawberry Shortcake.
I also played with my brother's Transformers, Constructs, MicroMachines, Hot Wheels, and GoBots.
We all shared the Legos.
I can come up with something to say about most of these. (Except for TFs, 'cause I'm WAY out-classed on those.)

I'd say the only 80's line that I know a bit about that we usually don't talk about is Dino Riders; after tmnt, gijoe and tfs, that was my favorite line as a kid. I also remember a bit about the toons for COPS, the real ghostbusters, and bionic six. There may have been more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head. I wasn't a big fan of the Centurions, motu, silverhawks, etc. as a kid.
