I'm sorry...but articulation in some instances is WAAAAAY overrated. I don't know about you guys, but I read action-figure.com often & those guys ALWAYS whine and complain about lack of articulation from certain action figures. Well this time, they are continuing to bash McFarlane (it happens about as often in the toy community as you hear people bashing Bush in everyday life) & McFarlane's Sportspick line (which I collect). The first dude hit McFarlane hard & I had to register and give a crack-back. www.action-figure.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=12775&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0Destro - I kinda hit the Street Fighter figure line hard in my response to that dude. I thought I would mention that here because it looked like you might be interested in the line & I didn't want to discourage you. In my argument, it proved my point for the side that I was arguing against.

awwwww SNAP. ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) jj w/ ya ckR. I can see your point, some figs just look better w/ less articulation (for example, sagat would look better w/o the midsection articulation, and the noticeable "joints" on all of them, imo). I think the sf line could've gone either way and I would've been happy. However it's still really cool to have figs that can do all the poses, high kicks, etc., just like in the games. So, you lose some points in the "looks" department, but you gain some playability and poseability. I guess in this case it's a "to each his/her own" type of thing. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

articulation=overrated figs in most cases...
some of te Marvel Legends figs are cool with the articulation they have, but GI JOe got out of control on some of them, but at least they were limited more or less to the ninjas, where you would really want it. No articulaiton is why I liked MOTu and love TMNT...I bought the Marvel Archangel figure...and although I love the figure....there is way too much articulation on him and he is very difficult to pose, not to mention his wing pack weighs him down so ou can't stand him up....

I'm a big fan of tmnt as well, and the lack of articulation doesn't bother me; in fact, I think it works well for that line. And stryker, what you said about the ninjas is why I like the added articulation on sf figs. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

You know - I think those Street Fighter figures would look great with some of the articulation they have...but skipping on a few things would have been nice.
Take this for example - Chun-Li's hands are WAY too big. However I would also think that somebody would want to be able to pose her in the lightning kick form - articulation is needed for that.

Two Heads?! ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) Just kidding. Yes, the change of heads for facial expressions & hands for base hand positions is pretty cool. I do believe that there is another company doing Street Fighter figures. I remember seeing prototype Chun-Li pictures & they have already done Ken and Ryu. She seemed a bit more female - that's for sure. Cammy on the SOTA line leaves a little more to be desired. She is made of bolts!

I don't think cammy looks too bad. My biggest complaint of both these sf lines is the head sculpts, HD's chun-li especially, but also their ryu and ken, and sota's cammy, chun-li, and ryu. Why can't they get the faces right? ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
