Nice, Kyla.
Let me make a recommendation -
If you right click on your text layer inside of the Layers/Channels/Paths window, you can add some pretty cool effects which give a little bit of a 3D look. This is available for all layers (except background, I believe).
You can add an outer glow and/or inner glow, change the color of the glow, set the spread & size....all sorts of things. The preview box should be checked by default, but if it isn't ...then check it. This will allow you to see the effect on your text (or image) while you are working on it.
The "CkRtech" on my avatar started with simple gold text on an average font. I duplicated the text, made it another layer and color....then used shadowing and glow effects on it to give it the look it has right now. Doing that to the text might help quite a bit.
You could have the text white - but have it sit in a copy of the text in black which would add a shadow.

Cool. Do you like the effect that the err... "effects" have on the name of the board? I think it helps out. "Energon Station" looks good. I think your logos were better the earlier way - unless...hmm. Perhaps you would want to put something dark behind them? Keep experimenting with the blending options. You may find some cool new things you can do that I don't know about. Try to have the least amount of "dead space" as you can. Goodness....we need a simple URL.

lol i am trying. photoshop is hard I have never used it before and when i go to try something it either deletes or messes up my work so i have to restart. It'll prolly take me forever LOL but i'll keep trying. and yeah the URL stinks i wish we could change that but i dont know how unless we move it or something.

Nice. I like the half-and-half emblems.

Would you want family friendly environment instead of just friendly environment?

Actually, the resolution of the image doesn't have to do with the print size. I would suggest making it really big (for detail reasons) and then just print it to the proper size of the page.

I actualy had to start from scratch with new demensions. We couldn't find a way to shrink the cards without degradeing the text.

Go to Image->Image Size and uncheck Resample Image. This will allow you to adjust the Document Size: Resolution (in pixels/inch) without altering the physical resolution of the picture. The lower the resolution you set with that, the larger the image will be on the page.
If you select "print with preview" when you print, you will get an idea of how big it will be on the page. You can also uncheck "center image" and then drag the picture around to where you want it on the page.
