Hopefully this is going to be a good one I saw Fire and Ice Red Tornado and quite a few others....I wish they would do a GL Corp. Animated series....
I can't believe Steel, also! Whoohoo...lets hope he gets some real play!

Wow! Surprised where Hawkgirl has been hiding and that we got to see her a bit earlier than we were supposed to.
OK, overall I was glad they brought a storyline from the regular Justice League series into play. I think it would be fantastic to see a GL Corp animated series and I imagine if this gets good feedback, it could happen in the future...Dr. Fate was really good in this one. I liked the story....I loved seeing all the characters they packed in this one, even though a lot of them didn;t get much play, but at least we are seeing them.....
It was an all around good episode and set you up for the "Wake the Dead" episode by showing where Hawkgirl was keeping herself....
Now for the bad news..Cartoon Network is pulling their crap again and rerunning the episodes, so we are going to get a break from the new ones. Next week there is not even going to be a JL ep shown at 730p...which means there must be somethign else debuting like The New GI Joe movie or some special....also on October 2, at 730p is a rerun...For the Man Who Has Everything"...they are just ridiculous with their scheduling...it is no wonder people lose interest....

Good ep, much better with the cameo's than last week's Booster Gold fiasco. I like how they've been showing the need for massed heroes more - gives more of a visual cue as to why the League needed to expand its membership in the first place. Did anyone else think "Wolf 359" when they showed the League armada in orbit? John Stewart makes a good Picard in that analogy ...... Nice use of Luthor - he's above board now (apparently), but not entirely without resources and agendas. Makes me wonder what they do with him next now that this threat is dealt with, not to mention how he is unsure of how long the armor will keep him alive. Overall a nice followup on many prior JL episodes. Good to see Kyle Rainer again - he got his ring in Superman:TAS. Steel, too. And we have confirmation that Flash is still around - but no lines! He gets blasted before even he could think of a signature sarcastic comment. Hawkgirl's appearance was great! Shows she's still hanging around, which gives hope for future eps. I was surprised at first to see her in Fate's tower, but it does make sense - the rest of the planet will see her as a reminder of the Hawkmen and an enemy, so nowhere on the surface is safe for her. Fate's tower is a good spot since Fate can help her rediscover herself and what she believes in, and no one gets in without Fate's permission (most times, anyway). Also, she has probably assisted Fate with some of his rituals - remember how she recognized the ritual symbols from her cultural past when they tried to "rescue" Grundy before the Hawkmen arrived. A GL series could be fun, but it might be hard to deal with so many popular comic GLs and their respective followings - Kyle Rainer, John Stewart, and even Hal Jordan (he hasn't been in an episode yet, but in the Superman episode where Rainer first got the ring Rainer was thrown by Sinestro into a fighter jet that had "Capt. Hal Jordan" painted under the cokpit)! It would have to focus on one of the known human GLs, and given the current setup the most likely would be Rainer, upsetting the followers of the other GLs and taking the attention away from Earth and most other DC heroes (especially any pop-culture-familiar figures). Not a very marketable solution for broad appeal. As for Cartoon Network - ![](http://img8.photobucket.com/albums/v28/gunman_sr5/10_1_121.gif) Note: I do know how to spell "cokpit" correctly, but the post censor changes it to "thingypit". A rather oversimplified and dumb program, if you ask me .....

THe GL COrp as a whole would not need to have Kyle or John Stewart in it. The original GL Corp series lasted quite a while in the comics. The Green Lanterns as a whole has a huge following, which is I guess why they are trying to push this Green Lantern movie through. THe reason we are not seeing Hal Jordan, is that they are still using in some ways the comic continuity in which Hal Jordan is currently the Spectre....he will be back as GL this fall in the 6 issue mini series. That is the only explanation as to why they have not had him on yet; considering he is the most famous GL. I also like that they had Jade in the GL corps. I like their rendition of her....

I liked this episode. Had more of an epic feel to it and had a different ending of sorts. Really more of a cliffhanger. It is ashame that we have to go over a month before the next new episode. Jay - Don't ever mention future episodes & their events. I don't want to know what happens until it is actually happening. This includes not watching the introduction to any of the episodes. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I couldn't help but get a sinking feeling when I saw all the potential Justice League Maquettes they could make...... ![](http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TTC_Forum/banghead.gif) Not many episodes left!
