As most of you know I thought my MP Starscream was missing a finger. So I emailed Hasbro about it. Since then I found the finger. It fell into the recliner... Anyways here is the response from Hasbro 5 days after I emailed them.

I really think they handled it pretty good other then the time it took to get back to you. I really don't see it feesable that they would have a big bucket-O-parts from every toy they have.

No prob puting it back on. I was hopeing that they would have some sort of replacement part. Finger hand whole figure, but I guess none are available.
This isn't the first time. My Alt Swerve is missing a hinge pin in its chest. There was no way I was going to send that off just to get Tracks back.

I don't know what Alternators are out there on the shelf these days, but....
1: Buy similar model to Swerve. 2: Take it home and remove needed pin. 3: Put newly acquired pin in alternate Swerve. 4: Take similar model back to store. Tell them it is missing a pin. Exchange for same thing. 5: Take same thing (still sealed) back to different store (probably Walmart). 6: Get money back.
A pain...but you don't have to do all of that in the same day.

Hasbro can be pretty useless when it comes to replacing toy parts. Now Kenner back in the day would actually send you most any missing pieces without even sending in the toy itself! I've bought a few Star wars toys back in the day that were missing parts, and they were amazing about helping out. Anyway, glad to hear that the finger just fell off the toy while TFing it the first time. I figured it was something simple like that.
