Depends on how much I paid.

I would sell it on ebay and buy some movie figs! *ducks* ;D
Seriously, it would depend on the figure..if it was one I never had as a kid that I always really wanted (megatron, shockwave, metroplex), I would probably open it. If it was one that I thought was cool but was never a real favorite (omega supreme, skylynx), I'd be more inclined to leave it misb.

I am a firm believer in "playing" with my toys. At my age playing means posing in variouse stances for display and changing it up quit often. That being said I have really never bought an expensive MISB toy. Most of the MISB toys I have bought were vintage MOTU and they really are not all that expensive.
Is it the type of character that you could buy a loose one cheap so you could handle that one?

Depends what it is and what I payed. If its a high dolor figure I relay want though. I would videotape me opening it and post it on the web for all of the MISB guys to see.

I couldn't bring myself to open up a sealed G1 Transformer, even if it was one I didn't have loose. If you're willing to do that, you might as well sell the sealed item on evilbay, then buy a loose or open-box version of the toy instead and pocket the extra. The only real advantage to opening up a sealed item is that it's (theoretically) in perfect C-9 shape. I have a friend that bought a sealed GI Joe Defiant playset that he fully intends to open up one day when he has the room to display it, and this was his rationale.
I admit though, I *have* taken stickers off of G1 decal sheets and put them on the toy in recent years.

I opened all my reissues, but I have put them back in the box. Right now I dont have the space to siplay them, so i thought boxing them back up would be the best way to keep them safe.

Two of my reissues are still misb (skywarp and smokescreen), but the rest have been opened and stickered (prime, rodimus, soundwave, t-cracker, prowl). They're all in storage now so they're all in boxes.
