OK we lucked into finding some movie stuff at K-mart tonight. They had a few fast action battlers, voice changer helmet, blasters, and Real Gear. Well we picked up Speed Dial 800 and Spyshot for Kira and did some more shopping. We then went to check out. Mind you the shelves where full of movie toys. We went to check out and they didn't ring up. The manager then got snappy with us saying they could get finned for selling them before the street date. Kira was bawling at this point since they where more fir her. The manager turned more into a well *****. So at that point we sat down the other stuff we had, and told them they just lost our business.
$7.99 for real gear, $11.99 for FAB, $21.99 for Cyberstomping Prime and Bumblebee as well as the blasters, and $32.99 for the helmet. K-mart should sell what they have now while they are exclusive, or they may never sell any of it.

That's crap man, every retailer under the sun has broken the street date for the movie toys, and hasbro doesn't really seem to care; you'd think kmart was trying to drive themselves further into the financial gutter (not to mention that clown giving you grief for trying to buy product on their shelves, like it's your fault). I feel especially upset for Kira; she just wanted some toys.

Call K-Mart Kommand and tell them what happened. I'm sure they would love to audit that store.

Once it is on the shelf, they are legally obligated to sell it to you - otherwise it is false advertising, bait-and-switch, etc. The manager can throw a fit all he wants, but he has to sell it to you first THEN go remove the items from the shelf.
I would file a complaint with your local BBB. It won't do much to help you, but then the manager will have to deal with that as well.

Yeah, I saw your post about that on tfw2005... and the half-dozen jerks that put you down for complaining. Sheesh, THEY'RE the ones being overly-dramatic and petty. They make it sound like heavy fines would've been levied on K-mart if they sold those toys to you before June 2nd, and the manager would lose his/her job. Ridiculous! It's all a smokescreen by Hasbro to intimidate you into not stocking the items early. The only thing K-mart would've gotten for selling those toys to you early is... *gasp*... a sale.

What K-Mart did is a load of Bull. They should have just sold you the toys, then removed it from the shelve. That is what Wal-Mart did for me when they put out new CD a couple of days early. They went ahead and sold me the CD, then before I could leave electronics were pulling it off the new release end cap.
