Could Bay and Hasbro be onto something with all of the controversy? Checking out other sites around the net. I have found places not even remotely related to Transformers talking about the past weeks news and fan response. Speculation about the fate of the movie is EVERYWHERE. So could this turn out to be a huge ratings boost for the movie just because of the curiosity of everyone reading about it?

I'll accept anything if it means that things are not what they seem.
Or, if you prefer -
There is more to this Transformers news than meets the eye.

I would not be surprised if a lot of this was trial balloons and "misrepresented" material.

I would love to think that. But I just don't think those guys are that smart. There is too much history to prove it.

I don't think so, especially w/ the movie still being so far off..this isn't snakes on a plane. Some think that these pics were "leaked" to get constructive criticism from fans, but I'm not sure I buy that either. I think I'm at the point of simply hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. If the movie isn't good, I'm hoping at least maybe the toys will be. Bottom line; I'm all about the toys, but I do understand how a successful movie would really help the franchise. I'll stop babbling now.
