It seems for every bit of good news I'm getting about this film. Then I get two bits of bad news to follow. These bot modes just aint working for me. The whole skeleton looking bot things just don't fit the TF mold for me. It's like they are just trying to hard to be creative. Instead of something simpler and right. And thus another bitter rant.

These are not as aesthetically pleasing as any of the toys from any line. I agree Starscream's head looks more like a Beast Wars head....Scorpy looks cool, but geez...I like originality, but I expected them to look different...not so ....naked..

Scorponok looks awesome, but I too see how the bot modes look kinda..unclothed. I like the prime as well, but ss isn't that great.

I have sat here studying Blackout. All I can say is they did an excellent job pulling this off. I can see almost all of the details of the H-53 there. These may actually be an engineering marvel.

I'm getting very curious about Prime - how does he transform so that the back wheels are his hips .....

Nothing screams "not scary" like chicken legs do.
