This has been on my mind here lately. The wisdom of the ages contained within the Matrix. Primal took in Primes spark in BW. When he put the Matrix back in Prime. Prime became temporarily active. What do you think thhis could bring out into the story past that point since everything that happend in those episodes of BW managed to get stored in the Matrix. Plus whatever it could get from Primal while it was in him.

I've thought about that too. Here's what I came up with:
1. Why was Primal the only one who communicted with the Matrix in BM? Possibly because he was already linked to it, and it "knew" (for lack of a better term) him better than the others. While the whole theme of BM was much different than BW, Primal was still the one who had the philosophical and mystical understanding - everyone else continued on much as an extension of BW.
2. Prime always seemed almost overly optimistic in G1. Granted this was an element of 80s cartoons, but from a story-telling standpoint you could say that this experience imparted to him a sense of hope in the future that he sensed would eventually come (without any specific "memories" of the BW future).
