After long await I have viewed the entire series. A fine ending to Beast Wars if I do say. Who all has seen all of the BW and BM serieses? What was your thoughts on them.

Overall I much prefer BW. BM had a bit of a shaky premise to it, and I'm not fond of the ending, but it was still a good series. My favorite subplots were the hunt for Silverbolt and the Savage/Noble period. The writers did a good job revealing just enough to get you hooked, then a little more to make you doubt, and finally a final "ending" that was generally unsuprising but still satisfying. I think the best characterizations were done with Cheetor and Silverbolt. Cheetor turned out the way that Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime should have - cocky youngster turned reluctant but determined group leader, and yielding control back to Optimus gracefully. Silverbolt remains my favorite character - I thought the writers did a good job of maintaining his original character with realistic changes from the trauma he went through. Waspinator was just a hoot, as usual. "Noooooo, doggy-bot not here!" My biggest gripes: - Rattrap. Hard to buy the down-and-dirty demolitions expert suddenly turning to a cyber-geek. - Rhinox. Uh uh, not buying it at all. No way, no how. Ruined an awesome character. - The Matrix and Vector Sigma. A bit over the top, though I feel the writers did do a good job of researching G1 for reference.
