What with the end of the Universe line. Of which I have none of it. Glad to see the lame line go. I never understood a thing about it anyway. Now I done went and got some fanboys upset with that one. Now will the TRU reissues be cut next? What with the clearance sale they have with them now. I hope not. The problem with them is that they came out at too high of a price orginaly $35 for standard bot cars and more for the seekers. They produced way too many I think for the targeted market. They also dragged their feet on putting out new(old) series. Mainly the alterations due to the toy saftey Nazis now. But now the bennifits of wating has paied off. Because now I'll be able to pick up Smokescreen and Red Alert cheap. Just wish I would have waited on the other. But I had to get them at the time they came out. I'm hoping they don't kill the G1 reissues. Thought, comments, suggestions.........

Where did the news of Universe ending come from? This is the first that I have heard anything about it.

The universe line is dead...............not that I care for repaints anyways. I was just kind of surprised to hear it.
As for G1 reissues I think both Hasbro and TRU should have stuck to the main toy market with there pricing. I have said it once and I will say it again. Collectors can't carry a toy line, but kids can.

I'm not surprised to see the Universe line end. I only picked up one (Silverbolt! ;D ), and thought about a few of the others, like Nemesis Prime and Razorclaw, but otherwise I just wasn't too interested in any of the molds they'd reused. I would have loved to see some of the ones I'd never picked up before return. There just ended up being way too many Beast Machines, RID, and Armada molds for my taste.

Ditto! I didn't know it was ending...they just announced Cheetor and Jawbreaker for Universe and previous to that they showed us the Land Fill set in Dev colors which is supposedly out, but no one has seen them. Longhorn was another Univere figure recently announced, which will more than likely take us through the spring....maybe the Seacons are the grand finale?
Plus KB is supposed to have another set of Micromasters in Universe next year, although that hasn't officially been anounced.
