Picked up the Bourne two-pack; I really enjoyed these first two, and I've heard the third is really good as well.

Woo! Let's keep this show rolling. Got a duplicate today...but I'll take the LOT! And....presenting my largest haul ever to fall under the "I'll just run in Target and buy something real quick so I can get cash back" category: Awesome NES haul, Chris!! I'm not a sports fan, but Blades of Steel was one of my favorite NES games. Also Ninja Gaiden was an instant classic. Gotta love those cut scenes. I've been behind in posting my August hauls, but I got the following: GI Joe 25th Anniversary boxsets (both), carded 25th Stormshadow, carded 25th Cobra Commander, SDCC Rodimus, SDCC Menasor, classic TMNT season 5 on dvd, and the Transformers Identification and Price Guide by Mark Bellomo. I'm also in the process of putting together a Cobra Trooper outfit for myself, so I'll be in costume for when Rose is wearing her Baroness get-up at conventions. Already ordered the helmet and balaclava.

So I picked up the transforming Batmobile today at Target. Flash Gordon the The Savior of the Universe Edition on DVD (gearing up for Flash Gordon tonight on Sci Fi).
Then I go to Big Lots and picked up two comic book line Batman figures...the Battle Sled and some sort of Drill variant...which looked cool. I also picked up another Black Canary/Joker/Batman (I think) JLU 3 pack to replace the one with a crappy paint job I got.
I am totally hitting Big Lots all day tomorrow....

So as I live and complain about no Transformer stock coming out, here comes today and at Toys R Us, I pick up.....all movie figures....Voayager Optimus Prime and Megatron, Longarm(the tow truck), Payload (the armorded truck), Final Battle Jazz, and the last Real Gear figure I needed (High Score 100 (the video game controller).
At Big Lots I scored a Hawkman Jlu 3 pack and picked up the other Deluxe Batman figure I wanted. Overall a pretty decent day!

I don't do variants for JLU...and I didn't know they even had one...I picked up one at Target today also, so I guess I should see which one I ended up with.

My big haul for the weekend:
A printserver for our home network (allows the printer to be independent of any of the computers) Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight A 2 GB micro SD card for my MP3 player's memory slot
And the big item: Babylon 5 Seasons 1-3 (ordered online) and 4-5 (in store). Best Buy has them on sale for $20 each this week - $30 off the current sticker price and $50 off from the original release price!
I looked at the 25th Anniversary GI Joe figures at Target and decided to pass for now. I only really wanted two figures: Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. The Snakes Eyes I want (and may go back and get later anyway - Timber is the big draw on that) is the single pack version with Timber, but the Storm Shadow I want is the one in the Cobra 5-pack. Since I don't really want any of the other figures in the 5-pack (the Baroness is nice, but the way her glasses are molded and painted kinda freaks me out), I may have to pass on Storm Shadow until (if) they do a "returned to Cobra" single pack version (the current single pack version is the "left Cobra but not officially a Joe" version).

Picked up a couple Wii-mote covers at Gamestop. One is teal and black rubberized. The other is a plastic case like holder with the Transformers movie inserts. Kira got High Score real gear.

We went store-hopping for much of the afternoon yesterday, and ended up finding two things: Jack and Diddly. Really though, we were greeted by empty pegs EVERYWHERE! I guess Sundays are just bad days to go looking for new stuff. But on the plus side, we found a very nice book at the flea market yesterday called "Robotech Art I", published in 1986. Contains a full episode guide, character bios, and tons of color pictures throughout. $3 well spent!

Dude! It wasn't the hardback version by any chance was it? Haha! I have the 1st and 2nd RA books & am missing the 3rd. And supposedly they did one for Shadow Chronicles....which I have to write out because otherwise it will get confused with Southern Cross. Ahh the problems presented from adding new things to an animated series.

Ahh the problems presented from adding new things to an animated series. I had no idea there were different editions, but this is the regular softover. We actually got the 2nd book at the same table for $3. I didn't mention it because it's not nearly as good as the first book. Lots of odd artwork in the first half. Some neat stuff towards the end though, now that I take a closer look. Now I'm wanting the 3rd book and possibly the one from Shadow Chronicles.
